Remigiusz Filanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patryk Winszman having to interfere. Cyryl Cieslak might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waclaw Ciechocki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cyryl Cieslak ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcin Hludzenski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Waclaw Ciechocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Stegienka were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyryl Cieslak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Mieszko Mios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mlodzi Gniewni and the Stegienka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaroslaw Zatorski charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaroslaw Zatorski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mlodzi Gniewni getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Stegienka's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigiusz Filanowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patryk Winszman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigiusz Filanowski got free with Patryk Winszman in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcin Hludzenski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waclaw Ciechocki having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stegienka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
