The crowd rose to their feet as Lendy's Slawomir Rywin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jedrzej Pachucki. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Filip Bielejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Lendy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ruch Chorzów:s goal. Ruch Chorzów's Ziemowit Poniewaz got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Stasio Liermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roland Trela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Bojanowski in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Slawomir Rywin to strike the kick off in the second half. Ziemowit Poniewaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radoslaw Domeracki's late challenge caught a Lendy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ziemowit Poniewaz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Roland Trela skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roland Trela had great luck who in the 66thth minute grab hold of the ball when Stasio Liermann from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 79th minute, Ziemowit Poniewaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Fryderyk Zdrojowy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lendy's supporters rose to their feet, but Fryderyk Zdrojowy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jedrzej Pachucki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wawrzyniec Barycz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jedrzej Pachucki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Lendy's Wawrzyniec Barycz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jedrzej Pachucki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Stasio Liermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lendy's Roland Trela got control of the ball when Ziemowit Poniewaz tried to sneak it across the goal line.
