Hasan Ali İlksel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of the match. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasan Ali İlksel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasan Ali İlksel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 20th minute of the match. Porziano Marchitelli's late challenge caught a Erymna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Porziano Marchitelli helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mirza Dural during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mirza Dural hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mirza Dural, made in the 51st minute of the game. Hasan Ali İlksel made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute of the match, Zaccheo Andolina tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hasan Ali İlksel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özer Yengi in the 65th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Deodato Magliozzi. When Porziano Marchitelli came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porziano Marchitelli couldn't finish the play. Hasan Ali İlksel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Porziano Marchitelli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 76 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Erymna's Celalettin Güneş got a free kick in the 80th minute. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. 87 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Özer Yengi came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Özer Yengi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sansone Vanella came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sansone Vanella couldn't finish the play. Adriano Curto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Hasan Ali İlksel made a huge save. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Finlay in the 94th minute of play. Hasan Ali İlksel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Curto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Erymna throughout the match.
