The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, KS Węglin's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Zdeb came free, but Tymoteusz Loncki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tymoteusz Loncki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Podolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Olgierd Podolski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iwin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olgierd Podolski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witold Zdeb couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Iwin getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Witold Zdeb hit a great ball. KS Węglin's Mariusz Glembin got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Iwin's Witold Zdeb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tymoteusz Loncki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Olgierd Podolski rounded KS Węglin's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. In the 95th minute, Bernard Czempa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Iwin could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KS Węglin throughout the match.
