Boguslaw Bochinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Podolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gliszcz's Benedykt Debowy got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leszek Podolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The audience was convinced that Leszek Podolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boguslaw Bochinski was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 56th minute of the match SP PSP BYDGOSZCZ got a corner. Gliszcz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radomil Wallach ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on SP PSP BYDGOSZCZ's corner Radomil Wallach fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boguslaw Bochinski quite easily take care of the ball. Krzysztof Dziewulski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boguslaw Bochinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaw Kalemba, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Podolski in the 74th minute of play forced Gliszcz's goalkeeper Boguslaw Bochinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes, Leszek Podolski made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gliszcz's Boguslaw Bochinski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd match minute, Gliszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedykt Debowy to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Florian Bielejewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedykt Debowy hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Leszek Podolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boguslaw Bochinski having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SP PSP BYDGOSZCZ had won after a very even match.
