In the 9th minute Leszek Podolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacek Drzewucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaw Kalemba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Jacek Drzewucki made a huge save. When Ignacy Wos fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pobitno's protests and gave Ignacy Wos a yellow card for diving instead. Lucjan Piczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jacek Zima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leszek Podolski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacek Drzewucki came out and tried to block the shot, but Leszek Podolski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 42nd minute. After 46 minutes of play, Pobitno's Cyprian Zgonina made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacek Zima was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pobitno's Jacek Drzewucki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Kalemba in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Dawid Gongola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Podolski in the 58th minute of play forced Pobitno's goalkeeper Jacek Drzewucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SP PSP BYDGOSZCZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Radomil Wallach in the 60th minute. Jacek Drzewucki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaw Kalemba in the 62nd minute of play. Leszek Podolski might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacek Drzewucki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Kalemba in the 77th minute of play forced Pobitno's goalkeeper Jacek Drzewucki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Cyprian Zgonina sped through SP PSP BYDGOSZCZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacek Zima. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomil Kapelski during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th match minute, SP PSP BYDGOSZCZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Kapelski to maneuver through the defense. Lucjan Piczak who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Jacek Zima when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
