Leszek Majczyk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Legia Warşova's Leszek Majczyk got control of the ball when Leszek Kondysar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucjan Konopka got free with Leszek Majczyk in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Riverpoor F.C's Lucjan Konopka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miroslaw Glaza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aleksander Rydz went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Riverpoor F.C's Lucjan Konopka got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucjan Konopka who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Leszek Majczyk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Lucjan Konopka put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Leszek Majczyk. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucjan Konopka was the one to do the kick off. Leszek Majczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucjan Konopka's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Lucjan Konopka took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leszek Majczyk. Leszek Majczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. 60 minutes into the match, Radomir Cuber notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of Legia Warşova's Leszek Majczyk. Leszek Majczyk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Riverpoor F.C's Lucjan Konopka in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Radomir Cuber came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Riverpoor F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomir Cuber couldn't finish the play. Leszek Majczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Konopka, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When Izydor Kissel fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legia Warşova's protests and gave Izydor Kissel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Legia Warşova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Kissel to maneuver through the defense. After 92nd play minutes Lucjan Konopka shot 11-1, a short shot which went by Leszek Majczyk and just under the crossbar into goal. When Bernard Hajduk came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Riverpoor F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Hajduk couldn't finish the play.
