After having played for 4 minutes, Boruc Brzakala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AT Mechanic Kraków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boruc Brzakala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robert Juchno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Zbyszko Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wieslaw Chodzinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Brzakala, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Wieslaw Chodzinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Brzakala in the 12th minute of the match. Boruc Brzakala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Wieslaw Chodzinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as KS Śląsk Katowice's Robert Juchno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbyszko Rosen. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. If Robert Juchno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wieslaw Chodzinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boruc Brzakala's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wit Psotka in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wieslaw Chodzinski saved KS Śląsk Katowice from getting behind. If Boruc Brzakala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wit Psotka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Chodzinski having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Bogumil Borkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Śląsk Katowice and the AT Mechanic Kraków players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KS Śląsk Katowice getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bogumil Borkowski hit a great ball. After 40 minutes AT Mechanic Kraków's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wlodzimierz Glapiak who took care of the corner kick. In the 42nd minute Robert Juchno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Robert Juchno fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Śląsk Katowice's protests and gave Robert Juchno a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Juchno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Rosen having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Malicki in the 52nd minute of play forced AT Mechanic Kraków's goalkeeper Zbyszko Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Zbyszko Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Juchno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Rosen having to interfere. Tomasz Malicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Malicki in the 63rd minute of play forced AT Mechanic Kraków's goalkeeper Zbyszko Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Juchno scored 2-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbyszko Rosen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wieslaw Chodzinski came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by AT Mechanic Kraków's Boruc Brzakala. But to his dismay, Boruc Brzakala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Boruc Brzakala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Chodzinski having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Boruc Brzakala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AT Mechanic Kraków's Zbyszko Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Juchno in the 80th minute of play. Wieslaw Chodzinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Brzakala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wieslaw Chodzinski made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Boruc Brzakala sent off a good shot on target. Tomasz Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Zbyszko Rosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ludomil Tobaczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KS Śląsk Katowice were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AT Mechanic Kraków for a fine match.
