The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wincenty Sadlowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Domalik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Izydor Domalik came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Dzn Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Izydor Domalik couldn't finish the play. If Wlodzimierz Chodzinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes, Ryszard Indyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal Rokitnica and the Dzn Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Arsenal Rokitnica getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ryszard Indyk hit a great ball. Mateusz Zawacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Cebula, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Mateusz Zawacki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emil Cebula's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Mateusz Zawacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Cebula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Izydor Domalik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dzn Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Izydor Domalik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wincenty Sadlowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Dzn Team getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Klement Kaczanek hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Cebula stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Emil Cebula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal Rokitnica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Cebula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Arsenal Rokitnica defense, Wlodzimierz Chodzinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincenty Sadlowski. The Arsenal Rokitnica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincenty Sadlowski should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Arsenal Rokitnica booed when Dzn Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Podolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsenal Rokitnica's Leonard Czubski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dzn Team. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Cebula in the 72nd minute of play forced Dzn Team's goalkeeper Mateusz Zawacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dzn Team's Mateusz Zawacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Cebula in the 81st minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Arsenal Rokitnica's Emil Cebula made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateusz Zawacki was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 88 played minutes Dzn Team got a freekick which was hit by Klement Kaczanek. Izydor Domalik hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Cebula in the 93rd minute of play forced Dzn Team's goalkeeper Mateusz Zawacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Arsenal Rokitnica's Karol Lesiecki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateusz Zawacki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Dzn Team's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
