The audience thought a goal was coming when Waclaw Wrzosek got free with Slawomir Dzierwa in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the game, Ryszard Rasimowicz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Górnik Zabrze's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE REBELS the free kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziemowit Mochadlo took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Slawomir Dzierwa. Slawomir Dzierwa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jaroslaw Prokowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tobiasz Zecman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, THE REBELS's Witomir Kalinowski got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Leonard Debowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Górnik Zabrze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Debowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After a rather tough play, Górnik Zabrze's Ryszard Rasimowicz got a free kick in the 51st minute. Górnik Zabrze's Slawomir Dzierwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Wrzosek in the 52nd minute of play. Ziemowit Mochadlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Dzierwa having to interfere. Waclaw Wrzosek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedykt Hryc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Slawomir Dzierwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes THE REBELS got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Czapski. Piotr Grabowski kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When THE REBELS's Waclaw Wrzosek in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 93rdth minute of the game Waclaw Wrzosek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Górnik Zabrze's Slawomir Dzierwa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. THE REBELS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
