Zdzislaw Fink charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zdzislaw Fink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Modecin getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zdzislaw Fink hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Wasyl Murdza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Purzycki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Modecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Konopka to maneuver through the defense. Stasio Raflewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute of the match Bartlomiej Polkoski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigiusz Chuchro skillfully saved the ball. If Miroslaw Dawiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miroslaw Dawiec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Miroslaw Dawiec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Zenon Gonsiewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Remigiusz Chuchro. Ogórki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zenon Gonsiewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Karol Rutecki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ogórki's Remigiusz Chuchro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Miroslaw Dawiec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Modecin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 67 minutes into the game, Tanek Czech was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ogórki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Modecin the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Ogórki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanek Czech to maneuver through the defense. Radomir Pryla's late challenge caught a Modecin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radomir Pryla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Ogórki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Pryla to maneuver through the defense. Zenon Gonsiewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remigiusz Chuchro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zenon Gonsiewski ran back to his position shaking his head. Dariusz Purzycki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomir Pryla in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Modecin getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Karol Rutecki hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Zenon Gonsiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Modecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenon Gonsiewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigiusz Chuchro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zenon Gonsiewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Zenon Gonsiewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
