The referee ignored Kupiatycze's protests and gave Grzegorz Gendolla a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezary Maruda during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Kupiatycze got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Maruda. Filip Czajkowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olaf Korytkowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Filip Czajkowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. When Filip Czajkowski came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the ZSRR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Czajkowski couldn't finish the play. If Bartlomiej Czubski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Kajetan Oryl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Czajkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Korytkowski having to interfere. Cezary Maruda was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cezary Maruda kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Czajkowski in the 27th minute of play forced Kupiatycze's goalkeeper Olaf Korytkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Czajkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Olaf Korytkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ZSRR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 42 minutes into the match, Kupiatycze's goalkeeper Olaf Korytkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartlomiej Czubski. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Czajkowski to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the game, Filip Czajkowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZSRR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kupiatycze the free kick. Filip Czajkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Stefan Andrysiak kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ZSRR's Bartlomiej Czubski got a free kick in the 61st minute. ZSRR's Filip Czajkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartlomiej Czubski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
