Waldemar Mondrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Falkiewicz in the 3rd minute of play. Waldemar Mondrowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boleslaw Falkiewicz's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Boleslaw Falkiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waldemar Mondrowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boleslaw Falkiewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute, Cieszyków SA's Boleslaw Falkiewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Waldemar Mondrowski. Waldemar Mondrowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boleslaw Falkiewicz in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Mondrowski saved BYDGOSZCZ from getting behind. Ziemowit Kapera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Gleba, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boleslaw Falkiewicz in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldemar Mondrowski saved BYDGOSZCZ from getting behind. Herbert Bielejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Witold Plucinik managed to get in a good position for a shot. BYDGOSZCZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Witold Plucinik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziemowit Kapera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the game, BYDGOSZCZ's Witold Plucinik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ziemowit Kapera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boleslaw Falkiewicz made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Ziemowit Kapera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Boleslaw Falkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Mondrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boleslaw Falkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cieszyków SA's Daniel Flis got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute of the match Wincent Buczak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldemar Mondrowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. BYDGOSZCZ's Waldemar Mondrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Falkiewicz in the 77th minute of play. Daniel Flis took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Mondrowski. Waldemar Mondrowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 96 minutes into the match, BYDGOSZCZ's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Flis came free, but Waldemar Mondrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cieszyków SA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
