The supporters of Polarne Leszcze booed when Korsze SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Burufski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 4 minutes, Fanis Meletiou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polarne Leszcze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fanis Meletiou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomasz Puchlik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Jucha in the 6th minute of the match. Tomasz Puchlik made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Fanis Meletiou sent off a good shot on target. Tymoteusz Pierz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Çetin Cabir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fanis Meletiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomasz Puchlik having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Korsze SSA's goalkeeper Tomasz Puchlik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fanis Meletiou. When Zbyszek Dytrych came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Korsze SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszek Dytrych couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Polarne Leszcze getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Piotr Jucha hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Fanis Meletiou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomasz Puchlik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Çetin Cabir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Dytrych in the 25th minute of play. Tymoteusz Pierz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A hard shot 31 in the game by Fanis Meletiou from a close distance when the talented Tomasz Puchlik managed to make a qualified save. Korsze SSA's players were relieved. Çetin Cabir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tymoteusz Pierz in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Yu Wen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Korsze SSA's Tomasz Puchlik. Tomasz Puchlik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fanis Meletiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cyprian Golaszewski struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Tomasz Puchlik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polarne Leszcze. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Fanis Meletiou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomasz Puchlik was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Fanis Meletiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tomasz Puchlik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Meletiou in the 59th minute of play forced Korsze SSA's goalkeeper Tomasz Puchlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Korsze SSA's zone, Fanis Meletiou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Puchlik came out of the goal and Fanis Meletiou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fanis Meletiou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boruc Wicherek lost his temper 66 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Korsze SSA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polarne Leszcze:s goal. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Polarne Leszcze. Ryszard Poniewaz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tomasz Puchlik. 3-0. In the 72nd match minute, Korsze SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Dytrych to maneuver through the defense. Piotr Jucha charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Piotr Jucha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Piotr Jucha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Korsze SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Ziemowit Pietrowiak came free, but Tomasz Puchlik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Korsze SSA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ryszard Poniewaz was slow to take the kick. During this time Polarne Leszcze's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Korsze SSA's goalie and right to Piotr Jucha. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Korsze SSA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 85 minutes into the match, Polarne Leszcze's Piotr Jucha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomasz Puchlik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute, Zbyszek Dytrych left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Korsze SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 93rdth minute of the game Fanis Meletiou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Korsze SSA's Tomasz Puchlik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Polarne Leszcze's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
