The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Jutro będzie lepiej! got a freekick which was hit by Artur Treppa. In the 4thth minute of the game Damazy Marchlewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jutro będzie lepiej!'s Zbyszko Wiater was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jutro będzie lepiej!'s goalkeeper Zbyszko Wiater, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Damazy Marchlewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zbyszko Wiater was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Damazy Marchlewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Wiater having to interfere. Damazy Marchlewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damazy Marchlewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Wiater having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Jutro będzie lepiej! got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Fedosz. Witold Tarka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Jutro będzie lepiej!'s goal looked a bit too open when Damazy Marchlewicz came free, but Zbyszko Wiater reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dominik Major received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gilbert Ruszkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damazy Marchlewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafal Treppa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jutro będzie lepiej!'s zone, Witold Tarka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Wiater came out of the goal and Witold Tarka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konstanty Rywin was the one to do the kick off. When Damazy Marchlewicz came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Melanów SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Marchlewicz couldn't finish the play. After having played for 54 minutes, Damazy Marchlewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melanów SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damazy Marchlewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilbert Ruszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstanty Rywin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstanty Rywin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Ruszkowski having to interfere. Zbyszko Wiater made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Witold Tarka sent off a good shot on target. Melanów SA's Gilbert Ruszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstanty Rywin in the 70th minute of play. Witold Tarka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Zbyszko Wiater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witold Tarka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Wiater read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Melanów SA got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Kinic. Rafal Treppa kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Jutro będzie lepiej! defense, Witold Tarka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszko Wiater. The Jutro będzie lepiej! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszko Wiater should have stopped the shot. When Witold Tarka came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Melanów SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witold Tarka couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Jutro będzie lepiej! getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Waclaw Brack hit a great ball. Melanów SA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
