The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Antoni Wozniak charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoni Wozniak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes DF Iwełka Team got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Wozniak. Juliusz Jandryca made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Michal Byczewski sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute, Antoni Wozniak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damian Mindykowski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 13th match minute, FC Coslinum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olgierd Majtyka to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Juliusz Jandryca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 22 minutes into the match, FC Coslinum's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Filipkowski came free, but Wincent Ochabski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Olaf Kluczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marian Filipkowski came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the DF Iwełka Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marian Filipkowski couldn't finish the play. Wincent Ochabski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslaw Giertych, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Wincent Ochabski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Filipkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, Aureliusz Bartochowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Coslinum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DF Iwełka Team the free kick. DF Iwełka Team's Bartosz Rosiewicz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wincent Ochabski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Filipkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Coslinum's Wincent Ochabski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Filipkowski in the 52nd minute of play. Olaf Kluczyk hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Marian Filipkowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wincent Ochabski was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Michal Byczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Jandryca having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Szczepan Pietrasz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Coslinum's supporters rose to their feet, but Szczepan Pietrasz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juliusz Jandryca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juliusz Jandryca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Szczepan Pietrasz's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, DF Iwełka Team's Jaroslaw Giertych sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wincent Ochabski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaroslaw Giertychs short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Wincent Ochabski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Michal Byczewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Jandryca having to interfere. If Szczepan Pietrasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Coslinum's zone, Jaroslaw Giertych stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincent Ochabski came out of the goal and Jaroslaw Giertych tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to FC Coslinum getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Olaf Kluczyk hit a great ball. Wincent Ochabski was a little too slow when Marian Filipkowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-1. The DF Iwełka Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DF Iwełka Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
