Wladyslaw Pacholewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakub Kaider went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Florian Zjawin fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KARPATY's protests and gave Florian Zjawin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KARPATY getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Florian Zjawin hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Szymon Andrzejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Kisiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jakub Kaider came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the KARPATY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakub Kaider couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Gdynia's zone, Ksawery Werra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wladyslaw Pacholewski came out of the goal and Ksawery Werra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC Gdynia's Wladyslaw Pacholewski got control of the ball when Jakub Kaider tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sylwester Rukszcz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Gdynia's supporters rose to their feet, but Sylwester Rukszcz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateusz Kisiel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jakub Kaider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Wladyslaw Pacholewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, FC Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Ksawery Werra came free, but Wladyslaw Pacholewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sylwester Rukszcz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute of the match, Ksawery Werra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wladyslaw Pacholewski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wladyslaw Pacholewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ksawery Werra in the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Gdynia booed when KARPATY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Maruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szymon Andrzejewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateusz Kisiel having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Jakub Kaider managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KARPATY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Kaider was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliks Kochanowicz's late challenge caught a FC Gdynia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliks Kochanowicz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Feliks Kochanowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Szymon Andrzejewski was the one to do the kick off. KARPATY's Mateusz Kisiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Andrzejewski in the 59th minute of play. Szymon Andrzejewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateusz Kisiel having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sylwester Rukszcz got free with Mateusz Kisiel in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliks Kochanowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wladyslaw Pacholewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Przemyslaw Dzerwucki's late challenge caught a KARPATY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Przemyslaw Dzerwucki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Przemyslaw Dzerwucki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Gdynia! KARPATY's Feliks Kochanowicz got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Feliks Kochanowicz off the ground. After 78 played minutes KARPATY got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Kochanowicz. In the 82ndth minute of the game Szymon Andrzejewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KARPATY's Mateusz Kisiel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sylwester Rukszcz got free with Mateusz Kisiel in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sylwester Rukszcz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Serwacki hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. KARPATY's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
