Lucjan Siwy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobald Skwira in the 9th minute of the match. If Izydor Niedziela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Niedziela in the 14th minute of play forced MOTOR LUBLIN's goalkeeper Klement Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klement Kiepski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Niedziela in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, Pirates FC's Rafal Pietras made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klement Kiepski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zbigniew Beninda's late challenge caught a Pirates FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbigniew Beninda helped the player get up and apologised. Zbigniew Beninda kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Klement Kiepski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Pietras in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Pirates FC booed when MOTOR LUBLIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zbigniew Dranka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Czeslaw Starogardzki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Klement Kiepski. MOTOR LUBLIN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucjan Siwy was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Teobald Skwira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teobald Skwira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Lucjan Siwy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbigniew Beninda in the 35th minute. Zbigniew Beninda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucjan Siwy having to make a save. Zbigniew Beninda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Siwy having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Lucjan Siwy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Patryk Mochowak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teobald Skwira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Siwy having to interfere. Lucjan Siwy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbigniew Beninda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, MOTOR LUBLIN's Zbigniew Beninda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucjan Siwy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 69th minute, Zbigniew Beninda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teobald Skwira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Izydor Niedziela made a precise shot to the right of Klement Kiepski. MOTOR LUBLIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. After having played for 86 minutes, Rafal Pietras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirates FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafal Pietras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zbigniew Beninda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Siwy having to interfere.
