Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork's Pawel Chlapowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork from getting a goal against them. After 11 played minutes Kornelówka got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Kochanowski. Ryszard Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bogumil Cymbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork's goalkeeper Pawel Chlapowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Kornelówka's zone, Ryszard Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogumil Cymbal came out of the goal and Ryszard Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Kornelówka's goal looked a bit too open when Wincent Pyrzyce came free, but Bogumil Cymbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wincent Pyrzyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogumil Cymbal having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Nieuzyla. Lukasz Czajkowski missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Pawel Chlapowski right hand side. 46 minutes into the game, Bogdan Mierzejewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kornelówka the free kick. After a rather tough play, Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork's Bogdan Mierzejewski got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wincent Pyrzyce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Wincent Pyrzyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogumil Cymbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kornelówka's zone, Ryszard Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogumil Cymbal came out of the goal and Ryszard Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcin Adamczak hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Prusek came free, but Pawel Chlapowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Pyrzyce in the 74th minute of play forced Kornelówka's goalkeeper Bogumil Cymbal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogumil Cymbal was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Wincent Pyrzyce capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wincent Pyrzyce really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Alfred Wnukowski kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Wincent Pyrzyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Kornelówka's goalkeeper Bogumil Cymbal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryszard Barna. 0-2 became the score in the 91st minute when Ryszard Barna elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork got a freekick which was hit by Iwo Birkenhagen. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Straż Miejska AnkhMorpork walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
