Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zaporze's Jurand Zgonina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leon Zahemski struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Arkadiusz Czerner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zaporze. In the 12th minute, Eugeniusz Kensicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Gizy's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Czerner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukasz Paprotny. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jurand Zgonina in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arkadiusz Czerner saved Gizy from getting behind. In the 16th match minute, Zaporze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Karanewski to maneuver through the defense. Jurand Zgonina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Czerner having to interfere. In the 36th play minute Lukasz Paprotny came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Arkadiusz Czerner. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Gizy's zone, Jurand Zgonina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiusz Czerner came out of the goal and Jurand Zgonina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arkadiusz Czerner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Zgonina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Lukasz Paprotny left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zaporze fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roland Bugno made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Wit Wojton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jurand Zgonina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaporze's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurand Zgonina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkadiusz Czerner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arkadiusz Czerner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Zgonina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Roland Bugno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arkadiusz Czerner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Paprotny in the 65th minute of play. Lukasz Paprotny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Czerner having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Zgonina in the 72nd minute of play forced Gizy's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Czerner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkadiusz Czerner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Paprotny in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Jurand Zgonina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lukasz Paprotny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaporze's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukasz Paprotny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkadiusz Czerner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the game, Jurand Zgonina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Arkadiusz Czerner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arkadiusz Czerner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Zgonina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jurand Zgonina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaporze walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
