In the 18th minute, Szymon Kolbe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Piotr Pyrzyce, passed just outside the right post. The attack was good, but when Szymon Kolbe in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Izydor Czerny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hope Dies Last booed when Flaki SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Czysty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szymon Kolbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piotr Pyrzyce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Radowit Banach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dobromir Klocko in the 52nd minute of play forced Flaki SA's goalkeeper Piotr Pyrzyce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piotr Pyrzyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szymon Kolbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
