Acapulcovia Acapulco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gwidon Sikola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remigiusz Fikus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jaroslaw Ferfecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigiusz Fikus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslaw Ferfecki having to interfere. Borys Czech kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remigiusz Fikus in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaroslaw Ferfecki saved Acapulcovia Acapulco from getting behind. 23 minutes into the match, Acapulcovia Acapulco's goal looked a bit too open when Remigiusz Fikus came free, but Jaroslaw Ferfecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acapulcovia Acapulco's supporters rose to their feet, but Napoleon Bury was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Liermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
