In the 10th minute Gustaw Gdaniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Chrobak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Radomil Pluciennik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artur Kaszubik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Florian Ranowiecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Ludomil Drebit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Marian Barowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Byki's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Barowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Ranowiecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bełchatowianie 1977's goalkeeper Florian Ranowiecki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bełchatowianie 1977's Radomil Pluciennik got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artur Kaszubik struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Florian Ranowiecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Byki. After having played for 40 minutes, Marian Barowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Byki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Barowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Byki's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Pluciennik came free, but Mateusz Chrobak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bełchatowianie 1977 getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bogdan Mazierski hit a great ball.

Zachariasz Ratulowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Ranowiecki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Byki's Mateusz Chrobak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Mazierz in the 64th minute of play. If Artur Kaszubik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florian Ranowiecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Kaszubik in the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Marian Barowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Byki's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Barowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Ranowiecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Bełchatowianie 1977's zone, Artur Kaszubik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
