Wawrzyniec Dziewedik kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15thth minute of the game Piotr Patora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kalinka SSA's Czeslaw Mockiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Piotr Patora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Czeslaw Mockiewicz having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, AFC Gdynia's Leonard Solarek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Czeslaw Mockiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Kalinka SSA getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tadeusz Solak hit a great ball. Kacper Rawa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Zbigniew Puchlik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalinka SSA. When Przemyslaw Domin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Kalinka SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Przemyslaw Domin couldn't finish the play. AFC Gdynia's Zbigniew Puchlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Domin in the 30th minute of play. Kacper Rawa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Przemyslaw Domin in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zbigniew Puchlik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute of the match, Przemyslaw Domin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zbigniew Puchlik saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Przemyslaw Domin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Przemyslaw Domin made a kick off. Piotr Patora's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Czeslaw Mockiewicz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Czeslaw Mockiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Solarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes, Waldemar Wnukowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Gdynia and the Kalinka SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Waldemar Wnukowski hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match Tadeusz Solak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zbigniew Puchlik showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Kalinka SSA booed when AFC Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Jajko didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kacper Rawa in the 89th minute of play forced AFC Gdynia's goalkeeper Zbigniew Puchlik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Leonard Solarek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Gdynia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Solarek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Kalinka SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Solarek came free, but Czeslaw Mockiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFC Gdynia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
