With an all-out effort, FC Neverdreamers's Zbigniew Beninda threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jaroslaw Warka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teobald Bara during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jerzy Basinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbigniew Beninda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Hieronim Karanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Scislowicz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Neverdreamers's zone, Hieronim Karanowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucjan Scislowicz came out of the goal and Hieronim Karanowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karol Mazierski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Karol Mazierski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Hieronim Karanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kornau SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hieronim Karanowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Scislowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucjan Scislowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hieronim Karanowski in the 31st minute of play. When Kornau SSA's Karol Mazierski in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Neverdreamers's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Karol Mazierski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kornau SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karol Mazierski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerzy Basinski got free with Zbigniew Beninda in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerzy Basinski struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Zbigniew Beninda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Neverdreamers. Zbigniew Beninda was a little too slow when Jaroslaw Warka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-0. A collision led to FC Neverdreamers getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Radoslaw Peczkowski hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hieronim Karanowski made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kornau SSA's zone, Witalis Zworski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbigniew Beninda came out of the goal and Witalis Zworski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Teobald Bara was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. In the 67th minute, Teobald Bara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Radoslaw Peczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Beninda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kornau SSA's Zbigniew Beninda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Basinski in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Kornau SSA booed when FC Neverdreamers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Peczkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Witalis Zworski charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Witalis Zworski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Witalis Zworski hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Lucjan Scislowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karol Mazierski in the 84th minute. If Karol Mazierski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kornau SSA's Jan Sebzda got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Jaroslaw Warka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Neverdreamers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslaw Warka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, FC Neverdreamers's Jaroslaw Warka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zbigniew Beninda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 98 minutes into the game, FC Neverdreamers's Jaroslaw Warka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zbigniew Beninda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Neverdreamers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kornau SSA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
