But to his dismay, Slawomir Ratulowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Grunwalski to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Andrzej Grunwalski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leszek Dubiel was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. If Wlodzimierz Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Wlodzimierz Rosen made a precise shot to the right of Leszek Dubiel. GKS Tychy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
