Zdzislaw Wojtowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Karpinski having to interfere. After some careless play in the Chrustne SA defense, Ksawery Dulka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radomir Giertych. The Chrustne SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radomir Giertych should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Chrustne SA getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Bogumil Sienkiewicz hit a great ball. Sukowy's Olgierd Gozdowski got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radomir Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Dulka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Chrustne SA's Lucjan Treppa in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sukowy's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Treppa in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Karpinski saved Sukowy from getting behind. Radomir Giertych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Gozdowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gustaw Karpinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zdzislaw Wojtowicz went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ksawery Dulka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bogumil Sienkiewicz's late challenge caught a Sukowy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogumil Sienkiewicz helped the player get up and apologised. Lucjan Treppa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. During the 88th minute of the match Zula Niezywy completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Zula Niezywy hit a great ball. Witold Rasiak was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Olgierd Gozdowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Giertych having to interfere.
