Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zbyszko Dres started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Borowiny:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Podwórko:s goal. After having played for 14 minutes, Bernard Skrzypek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Podwórko's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Skrzypek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Burdalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Dres in the 16th minute of the match. Borowiny's Tanek Gierasik got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tanek Gierasik scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julian Burdalski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30thth minute of the game Tanek Gierasik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Podwórko's Julian Burdalski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Borowiny's Zbyszko Dres got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zenon Dropinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Burdalski having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Tanek Gierasik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 37 played minutes FC Podwórko got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Petka. Julian Burdalski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radowit Kordalewski in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tanek Gierasik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borowiny's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanek Gierasik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Burdalski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Tanek Gierasik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanek Gierasik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Burdalski having to make a save. After 63 played minutes FC Podwórko got a freekick which was hit by Marcin Petka. When Borowiny's Zbyszko Dres in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Podwórko's goalie prevented a goal. Tanek Gierasik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Remigiusz Skorny fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borowiny's protests and gave Remigiusz Skorny a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Borowiny got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Skorny. Zbyszko Dres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Julian Burdalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Burdalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanek Gierasik in the 77th minute of play. FC Podwórko's Julian Burdalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Dres in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Podwórko defense, Zbyszko Dres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Burdalski. The FC Podwórko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Burdalski should have stopped the shot. Julian Burdalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanek Gierasik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Podwórko's Karol Cichewski got a free kick in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Podwórko's zone, Zbyszko Dres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julian Burdalski came out of the goal and Zbyszko Dres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zbyszko Dres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Borowiny booed when FC Podwórko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Wyrostek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute Zbyszko Dres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Burdalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Borowiny were the better team. Borowiny's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
