After 10 minutes of play, SCA Toruń's Leonard Tworek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julian Burdalski was left in no man's land by his defense there! SCA Toruń's Leonard Tworek got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, FC Podwórko was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Petka to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Dembkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Burdalski having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Alfred Dembkowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. SCA Toruń's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Dembkowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Burdalski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Leonard Tworek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Burdalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdzislaw Lech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyryl Marciewicz in the 27th minute. Bernard Skrzypek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zdzislaw Lech having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bernard Skrzypek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SCA Toruń's Zdzislaw Lech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to SCA Toruń getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Zbigniew Dawiec hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, FC Podwórko's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Dembkowski came free, but Julian Burdalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Dembkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernard Skrzypek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyryl Marciewicz couldn't finish the play. Zdzislaw Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Skrzypek in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Marciewicz in the 66th minute of play forced SCA Toruń's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Lech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to SCA Toruń getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Zula Oryniak hit a great ball. Cyryl Marciewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyryl Marciewicz took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zdzislaw Lech. Zdzislaw Lech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the FC Podwórko defense, Alfred Dembkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Burdalski. The FC Podwórko fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Burdalski should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Leonard Tworek fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julian Burdalski, passed just outside the right post. The SCA Toruń players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
