Szczepan Debkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofil Karpinski in the 35th minute of the match. Tanek Gierasik ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszko Dres in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jedrzej Merski saved VW GOLF TEAM from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Szczepan Debkowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 75th minute Teofil Karpinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Debkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszko Dres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Merski having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Zbyszko Dres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jedrzej Merski was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Borowiny were the better team. Borowiny's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
