Bogdan Brysz succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When Wlodzimierz Jurgiel came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the EAST THORN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wlodzimierz Jurgiel couldn't finish the play. The supporters of EAST THORN booed when IKS Olkusz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Roman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryszard Sikola made a kick off. Rafal Balkiewicz hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. IKS Olkusz's Dominik Kicia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save IKS Olkusz from getting a goal against them. When the match was over EAST THORN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than IKS Olkusz throughout the match.
