With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wlodzimierz Jurgiel in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Kociniewski saved Jajczaki from getting behind. If Bogdan Brysz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Jajczaki getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Fabian Lampe hit a great ball. Jajczaki's Jaroslaw Szarmach got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. EAST THORN's Wiktor Gurgul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Szarmach in the 17th minute of play. Jaroslaw Szarmach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiktor Gurgul having to make a save. In the 37th minute Jaroslaw Szarmach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Gurgul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wlodzimierz Jurgiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Brysz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jan Kociniewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Wiktor Rydz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EAST THORN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jajczaki the free kick. A collision led to EAST THORN getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryszard Purzycki to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, EAST THORN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaroslaw Szarmach fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 64 minutes into the match, EAST THORN's Bogdan Brysz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Kociniewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Jajczaki booed when EAST THORN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Wos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Jaroslaw Szarmach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wiktor Gurgul was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The EAST THORN fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jajczaki were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
