After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tobiasz Maziarski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kometa Krzelów's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobiasz Maziarski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boguslaw Wydrych breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurand Miodek in the 37th minute of play forced GEKSA's goalkeeper Boguslaw Wydrych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Jurand Miodek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boguslaw Wydrych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match, Wladyslaw Felenak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafal Kasiewski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rafal Kasiewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Jekot in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Bogdan Gierlach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Przemyslaw Jekot was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GEKSA's goalkeeper Boguslaw Wydrych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Przemyslaw Jekot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafal Kasiewski having to interfere. Wladyslaw Felenak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafal Kasiewski having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Kometa Krzelów's Jurand Miodek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boguslaw Wydrych. That made the score 0-1 after 78 minutes of play. Tobiasz Maziarski struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Boguslaw Wydrych didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kometa Krzelów. 87 minutes into the game, Radomil Kolbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GEKSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kometa Krzelów the free kick. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GEKSA! Igor Jajesniak shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Tobiasz Maziarski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Boguslaw Wydrych made a huge save.
