A collision led to Kwasielina SA getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Witomir Augustyn hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes TAK Gdańsk got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Kosakowski. Kwasielina SA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Walkowski in the 13th minute. Jerzy Penkalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Brzonkala in the 15th minute of play. After 15 played minutes TAK Gdańsk got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Gondela. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kwasielina SA fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Kwasielina SA:s Borys Sienkowski showed great skill when he stopped Hugon Biegun:s penalty. Borys Sienkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugon Biegun went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Witomir Augustyn's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jerzy Penkalski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jerzy Penkalski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wiktor Ikalewicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Brzonkala in the 33rd minute of play forced TAK Gdańsk's goalkeeper Jerzy Penkalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witomir Augustyns short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Jerzy Penkalski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, TAK Gdańsk's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Brzonkala came free, but Jerzy Penkalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dariusz Kosakowski hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Brzonkala to make the kick off. Julian Brzonkala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Brzonkala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerzy Penkalski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Kwasielina SA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaroslaw Ryback fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Witomir Augustyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, TAK Gdańsk's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Brzonkala came free, but Jerzy Penkalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, TAK Gdańsk's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Brzonkala came free, but Jerzy Penkalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Brzonkala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the TAK Gdańsk defense, Julian Brzonkala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Penkalski. The TAK Gdańsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Penkalski should have stopped the shot. Kwasielina SA were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing TAK Gdańsk to leave the ground with a draw.
