After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Wasyl Rekawiczka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bystronowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Wasyl Rekawiczka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roch Kieca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Roland Rydzewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Wasyl Rekawiczka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stasio Starogardzki came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bystronowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Starogardzki couldn't finish the play. If Stasio Starogardzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wasyl Rekawiczka hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Roland Rydzewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wincent Rzeszutko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roland Rydzewski ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool F.C.'s zone, Wasyl Rekawiczka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roch Kieca came out of the goal and Wasyl Rekawiczka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Stasio Starogardzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40th play minutes Stasio Starogardzki shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Roch Kieca and just under the crossbar into goal. Wasyl Rekawiczka struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Roch Kieca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bystronowice. Wincent Rzeszutko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Gonsiewski in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stasio Starogardzki made a kick off. Marcin Mentis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stasio Starogardzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roch Kieca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stasio Starogardzki ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wasyl Rekawiczka got free with Roch Kieca in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Wasyl Rekawiczka came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Bystronowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wasyl Rekawiczka couldn't finish the play. The Bystronowice fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Bystronowice's Wasyl Rekawiczka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tanek Tylinski hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Mieszko Czerny kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Liverpool F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Kisiel to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes in the game, Wasyl Rekawiczka dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The long shot by Slawomir Solibieda in the 73rd minute really tested Roch Kieca's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 77th minute, Stasio Starogardzki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roch Kieca. The goal made the score 1-3. When Stasio Starogardzki came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Bystronowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasio Starogardzki couldn't finish the play. Liverpool F.C.'s Roch Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Starogardzki in the 87th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Stasio Starogardzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roch Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Starogardzki in the 95th minute of play. Bystronowice played a much better game than Liverpool F.C. and deserved their victory. The Liverpool F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
