GKS Tychy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stasio Starogardzki in the 5th minute of play forced GKS Tychy's goalkeeper Iwan Lichorobiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iwan Lichorobiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Starogardzki in the 6th minute of play. Iwan Lichorobiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stasio Starogardzki in the 7th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes GKS Tychy got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Teofila. Marcin Mentis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Wasyl Rekawiczka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Bernard Teofila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Tychy and the Bystronowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Wasyl Rekawiczka fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bystronowice's protests and gave Wasyl Rekawiczka a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bystronowice getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Wasyl Rekawiczka hit a great ball. Jedrzej Brzonkala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The GKS Tychy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Bystronowice players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GKS Tychy were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stasio Starogardzki made a kick off. GKS Tychy's Iwan Lichorobiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wasyl Rekawiczka in the 60th minute of play. Iwan Lichorobiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Starogardzki in the 61st minute of play. Bystronowice's Ludomir Mudry suffered a concussion after 61 minutes and had to leave the field. Grzegorz Niedbalski charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grzegorz Niedbalski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Lichorobiec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wasyl Rekawiczka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iwan Lichorobiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Wasyl Rekawiczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iwan Lichorobiec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wasyl Rekawiczka went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bystronowice fully deserved thier win.
