Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zbyszko Popowicz started the match with the kick off. Krusz's Juliusz Magdziarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Popowicz in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, FC Legion's Tomasz Poling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juliusz Magdziarz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juliusz Magdziarz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Kinic, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The supporters of Krusz booed when FC Legion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maciej Majusiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Legion's Dariusz Maziarz got control of the ball when Remigiusz Rzentkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tomasz Poling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbyszko Popowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juliusz Magdziarz having to interfere. Juliusz Magdziarz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zbyszko Popowicz went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Krusz booed when FC Legion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Poling didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Krusz's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Kinic came free, but Juliusz Magdziarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juliusz Magdziarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beniamin Kinic in the 36th minute of the match. Remigiusz Rzentkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Legion's Maciej Majusiak got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Popowicz in the 45th minute of play forced Krusz's goalkeeper Juliusz Magdziarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigiusz Rzentkowski was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Krusz getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jaroslaw Olszewski hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Krusz's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Popowicz came free, but Juliusz Magdziarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Tomasz Poling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Krusz getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Lucjan Ciempa hit a great ball. Zygmunt Lewicki charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zygmunt Lewicki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Krusz got a freekick which was hit by Zygmunt Lewicki. Zbyszko Popowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jaroslaw Olszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With his leg Juliusz Magdziarz managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when FC Legion's Tomasz Poling fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Legion were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Krusz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milosz Walentowicz took the corner. Juliusz Magdziarz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Popowicz in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded FC Legion left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Krusz.
