After 43 played minutes, FC Barcelonapl's Wawrzyniec Plachetka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Przemyslaw Gongolewicz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Barcelonapl reached it. 44 minutes into the match, FC Barcelonapl's goal looked a bit too open when Dawid Pysz came free, but Klement Gongolewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dawid Pysz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klement Gongolewicz was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half GKS Tychy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The referee ignored FC Barcelonapl's protests and gave Zachary Barniszke a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelonapl's zone, Jan Arbaszewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dawid Pysz in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klement Gongolewicz saved FC Barcelonapl from getting behind. In the 92nd minute of the match Tytus Dynda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klement Gongolewicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, the referee gave GKS Tychy a penalty. Sylwester Slazak looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Klement Gongolewicz. GKS Tychy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
