The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dawid Pysz took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Balonek. Grzegorz Balonek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, GKS Tychy's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Kuszczak came free, but Przemyslaw Gongolewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by GKS Tychy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wladyslaw Bycofski was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Widows's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Black Widows's corner Wladyslaw Bycofski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Przemyslaw Gongolewicz quite easily take care of the ball. Dawid Pysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grzegorz Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Arbaszewski in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Black Widows's Roland Szkarpiak got a free kick in the 16th minute. Dawid Pysz struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Grzegorz Balonek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Tychy. Grzegorz Balonek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Pysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Krzysztof Kuszczak succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. When Dawid Pysz came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the GKS Tychy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Pysz couldn't finish the play. Kacper Erland might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Przemyslaw Gongolewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kacper Erland ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan Arbaszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Balonek having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Arbaszewski in the 32nd minute of play forced Black Widows's goalkeeper Grzegorz Balonek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Arbaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, GKS Tychy's Jan Arbaszewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grzegorz Balonek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Sylwester Slazak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Grzegorz Balonek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kacper Erland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Kuszczak in the 40th minute of play forced GKS Tychy's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Gongolewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grzegorz Balonek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Pysz in the 44th minute of play. When GKS Tychy's Dawid Pysz in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Widows's goalie prevented a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krzysztof Kuszczak to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Kacper Erland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Widows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Tychy the free kick. Kacper Erland kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Grzegorz Balonek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogumil Obuchowicz in the 59th minute. Dawid Pysz scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grzegorz Balonek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute Krzysztof Kuszczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Gongolewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Arbaszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Grzegorz Balonek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dawid Pysz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Grzegorz Balonek came out and tried to block the shot, but Dawid Pysz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Pysz in the 82nd minute of play forced Black Widows's goalkeeper Grzegorz Balonek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Arbaszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Balonek having to interfere. With a little luck, Black Widows's Grzegorz Balonek got control of the ball when Jan Arbaszewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Jan Arbaszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. GKS Tychy's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Arbaszewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grzegorz Balonek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulryk Pietrasz kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. With a little luck, Black Widows's Grzegorz Balonek got control of the ball when Jan Arbaszewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over GKS Tychy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Black Widows throughout the match.
