Grzegorz Balonek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Pysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Arbaszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Grzegorz Balonek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kacper Erland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Przemyslaw Gongolewicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Dawid Pysz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Balonek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to GKS Tychy getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Zdzislaw Bojanowski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Tychy's zone, Wladyslaw Bycofski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Przemyslaw Gongolewicz came out of the goal and Wladyslaw Bycofski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kacper Erland scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Przemyslaw Gongolewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Arbaszewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grzegorz Balonek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Arbaszewski ran back to his position shaking his head. Kacper Erland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Szkarpiak kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Sylwester Slazak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Black Widows's Grzegorz Balonek didn't even have to move. Grzegorz Balonek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Arbaszewski in the 38th minute. When Dawid Pysz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the GKS Tychy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Pysz couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Dawid Pysz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Arbaszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Black Widows's Krzysztof Kuszczak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Przemyslaw Gongolewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krzysztof Kuszczak was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of GKS Tychy booed when Black Widows was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Chuchro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grzegorz Balonek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Arbaszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Black Widows's zone, Lucjan Percha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 64 minutes of play, GKS Tychy's Jan Arbaszewski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grzegorz Balonek was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 69 minutes, Ulryk Pietrasz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Widows and the GKS Tychy players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Black Widows got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Pietrasz. Ulryk Pietrasz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Grzegorz Balonek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Arbaszewski went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Dawid Pysz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Balonek having to interfere. Grzegorz Balonek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Pysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Roland Szkarpiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Przemyslaw Gongolewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Black Widows succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though GKS Tychy had controlled the match.
