In the 12thth minute of the game Miroslaw Makarewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BvB Borussia Dortmund's Konrad Borucki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miroslaw Makarewicz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Konrad Borucki 12 minutes into the match. Budziszki's Szymon Watarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszek Ludwa in the 37th minute of play. When Cyprian Kinic came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the BvB Borussia Dortmund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyprian Kinic couldn't finish the play. Konrad Borucki was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Miroslaw Makarewicz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Konrad Borucki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miroslaw Makarewicz's shot from short distance in the 70th minute.
