Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Lisewski started the match with the kick off. Szachy's Leonard Lisewski got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Lisewski in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Popowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Szachy's zone, Olaf Rutecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maciej Klocko came out of the goal and Olaf Rutecki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Leonard Lisewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szachy's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Lisewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ryszard Popowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Szachy defense, Olaf Rutecki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maciej Klocko. The Szachy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maciej Klocko should have stopped the shot. After 27 minutes of play, Szachy's Leonard Lisewski made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ryszard Popowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute of the match, Leonard Lisewski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ryszard Popowicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Gapowo booed when Szachy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Czapski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Szachy's zone, Bartosz Wojtyna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maciej Klocko came out of the goal and Bartosz Wojtyna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Szachy booed when Gapowo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksander Trzenzalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartosz Wojtyna to make the kick off. Bartosz Wojtyna kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Filip Czapski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryszard Popowicz. Gapowo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Czapski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of Gapowo booed when Szachy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Sokolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gapowo's Izydor Praski couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Szachy. Bartosz Wojtyna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maciej Klocko having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Szachy's Zenon Glogowski got a free kick in the 70th minute. Maciej Klocko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartosz Wojtyna in the 78th minute of play. Ryszard Popowicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Lisewski went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute of the match Bernard Beninda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ryszard Popowicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Szachy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gapowo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
