GieKSa Bełchatów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Janusz Bobrowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miromir Czerny in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariusz Latkiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miromir Czerny received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariusz Latkiewicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Miromir Czerny slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 20th minute. A hard shot 24 in the game by Janusz Bobrowski from a close distance when the talented Mariusz Latkiewicz managed to make a qualified save. Lute SSA's players were relieved. Piotr Wiatrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Jajko, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Feliks Jajko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36th play minutes Lucjan Wielkopolski shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Mariusz Latkiewicz and just under the crossbar into goal. Janusz Bobrowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miromir Czerny made a kick off. Miromir Czerny recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st match minute, Lute SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Domala to maneuver through the defense. Witomir Psotka kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Lute SSA's Ksawery Jerzyk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Piotr Wiatrak but with some difficulty. Lute SSA's Norbert Sidor got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Piotr Wiatrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Jajko, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Miromir Czerny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Latkiewicz having to interfere. Norbert Sidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, GieKSa Bełchatów's Miromir Czerny nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariusz Latkiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Bobrowski in the 86th minute of play forced Lute SSA's goalkeeper Mariusz Latkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Lute SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Bobrowski came free, but Mariusz Latkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GieKSa Bełchatów had won after a very even match.
