In the 25th minute, Sajgon Team's Wiktor Golob ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olaf Siekierski. Eugeniusz Szotek hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tomasz Dziewulski got his second yellow card in the match during the 33rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zenon Bejrut scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Siekierski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gidle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
