Herbert Laskowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincenty Dula in the 11th minute of the match. Kazimierz Kluska made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Pierz in the 13th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Brzostownia's Walery Malicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Laskowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Herbert Laskowski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marek Skorny. After having played for 30 minutes, Wincenty Dula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brzostownia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincenty Dula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brzostownia's goalkeeper Kazimierz Kluska, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrzej Pierz in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kazimierz Kluska saved Brzostownia from getting behind. Waclaw Ramzinski's late challenge caught a Brzostownia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waclaw Ramzinski helped the player get up and apologised. Waclaw Ramzinski kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wincenty Dula to make the kick off. Kazimierz Kluska made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Wlodzimierz Matela sent off a good shot on target. With 54 minutes on the clock, Marek Skorny commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Brzostownia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dziedziule:s goal. Maciej Chrobak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Malicki in the 61st minute of play forced Dziedziule's goalkeeper Herbert Laskowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Wlodzimierz Matela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walery Malicki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 played minutes Brzostownia got a freekick which was hit by Klement Starogardzki. Walery Malicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Herbert Laskowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kajetan Karpinski came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Brzostownia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Karpinski couldn't finish the play. Kazimierz Kluska showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrzej Pierz, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After 93 played minutes Brzostownia got a freekick which was hit by Kajetan Karpinski. After a defensive mix-up in Dziedziule's zone, Walery Malicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Laskowski came out of the goal and Walery Malicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 98 minutes, Maciej Chrobak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brzostownia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maciej Chrobak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Brzostownia were the better team. Brzostownia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
