With his leg Sebastian Lizewski managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Workeim's Kajetan Noworolnik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daavid Beckham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Szkaradek in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Workeim's Przemyslaw Klucznik got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Wincenty Misiewicz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Michal Szkaradek took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daavid Beckham. Daavid Beckham dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Michal Szkaradek struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Daavid Beckham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Gładysze. Daavid Beckham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Odachowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After 55 minutes, Pawel Michalski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Gładysze and the Workeim players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, one of GKS Gładysze:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GKS Gładysze. Jedrzej Sala placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincenty Misiewicz in the 58th minute of play forced GKS Gładysze's goalkeeper Sebastian Lizewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Klement Odachowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Przemyslaw Klucznik during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Workeim's Daavid Beckham got control of the ball when Klement Odachowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Lizewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Noworolnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klement Odachowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Daavid Beckham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daavid Beckham made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Klement Odachowski sent off a good shot on target. Wincenty Misiewicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Lizewski having to make a save. If Wincenty Misiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Gładysze's zone, Wincenty Misiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Lizewski came out of the goal and Wincenty Misiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zenon Kornasiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The GKS Gładysze players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Workeim from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
