When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Gustaw Duda put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Micael Machado. In the 20th minute, Gustaw Duda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Micael Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 23rd minute, Feliks Gotfryd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mieszko Maruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Roman Poteralski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Micael Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Gotfryd in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Ramzinski in the 34th minute of play forced PDP Karlikowo Sopot's goalkeeper Roman Poteralski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Akritas Chlorakas booed when PDP Karlikowo Sopot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Raschke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akritas Chlorakas's Emil Gniech took a good shot, in the 37th minute, which hit the crossbar above Roman Poteralski's head, and flew over the goal. PDP Karlikowo Sopot's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Akritas Chlorakas. Mieszko Maruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bogdan Treppa might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Poteralski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogdan Treppa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mieszko Maruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustaw Duda to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Poteralski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Kalemba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Bogdan Treppa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akritas Chlorakas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Treppa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Slawomir Kanczuszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fryderyk Wawak charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fryderyk Wawak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Roland Kalemba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the PDP Karlikowo Sopot defense, Roland Kalemba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Poteralski. The PDP Karlikowo Sopot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Poteralski should have stopped the shot. Fryderyk Wawak got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 73 played minutes PDP Karlikowo Sopot got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Wawak. Mieszko Maruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Roman Poteralski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PDP Karlikowo Sopot's Roman Poteralski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Treppa in the 85th minute of play. Leon Sobania made in the 89th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Akritas Chlorakas's Miromir Ramzinski. After some careless play in the PDP Karlikowo Sopot defense, Miromir Ramzinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Poteralski. The PDP Karlikowo Sopot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Poteralski should have stopped the shot. Feliks Gotfryd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
