In the 15th minute Damazy Drugi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Milan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Wlodzimierz Karanewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grosseppingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wlodzimierz Karanewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Piekut SSA's zone, Damazy Drugi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajetan Milan came out of the goal and Damazy Drugi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damazy Drugi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Milan having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Karanewski got in the 38th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Kajetan Milan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Damazy Drugi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kajetan Milan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Turak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Piekut SSA getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tadeusz Paciuszko hit a great ball. Kajetan Milan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Drugi in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Grosseppingen's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
