Gilbert Ruszczyk came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernard Jaraczewski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Grosseppingen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Leszek Bielejewski scored to the left of an out of position Gilbert Ruszczyk, making the score, 2-0. Grosseppingen's Gilbert Ruszczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Jaraczewski in the 21st minute of play. Gilbert Ruszczyk was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Bernard Jaraczewski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bernard Jaraczewski really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Antoni Ligas kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Damazy Drugi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Kryspin Marchlewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Wiechetki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ksawery Jerzyk to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Ruszczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Jaraczewski's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bernard Jaraczewski made the kick off in the second half. In the 70th minute, Ksawery Jerzyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Hugon Patrylo led 70 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Wiechetki's Kryspin Marchlewicz became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-1. Gilbert Ruszczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Ligas, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Grosseppingen's Wlodzimierz Karanewski in the 75th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kryspin Marchlewicz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Wiechetki through an amazing save. Bernard Jaraczewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Grosseppingen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wiechetki the free kick. A collision led to Grosseppingen getting a freekick after 88 minutes play.
