Wisła Strumień's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugeniusz Grocholski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Wisła Strumień's Jurand Ciszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Pisarcik in the 27th minute of play. Lichawa's Grzegorz Dropinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Leper in the 29th minute of play. Jurand Ciszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Ludwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Lichawa's Czeslaw Bator nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jurand Ciszewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 46 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Bator was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lichawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wisła Strumień the free kick. After 46 played minutes Lichawa got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Bator. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliks Ludwa to make the kick off. Cyprian Bazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Marek Leper sped through Lichawa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Grzegorz Dropinski. After a defensive mix-up in Lichawa's zone, Bartlomiej Bucyki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grzegorz Dropinski came out of the goal and Bartlomiej Bucyki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wisła Strumień's Marek Leper in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lichawa's goalie prevented a goal. Bartlomiej Bucyki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Grzegorz Dropinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bartlomiej Bucyki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Mazurkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Marek Leper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Wisła Strumień's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartlomiej Bucyki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grzegorz Dropinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Marek Leper put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Grzegorz Dropinski. Grzegorz Dropinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marek Leper, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Wisła Strumień's goalkeeper Jurand Ciszewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Czeslaw Bator. Cyprian Bazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Dropinski having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Czeslaw Bator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
